Why we start with an assessment
Adopting AI is rarely a question of tooling. Most companies already have something — one person pays for a subscription, someone else pays for another one, and nobody knows about both. That still is not a system, because there is no decision behind it about which work gets handed over and which does not.
So the work does not start by picking software. It starts by looking at what you have today: which tools are in use and by whom, what still runs by hand, where the knowledge sits, and who can reach it. The plan comes out of that — broken into steps, in an order that says what each step replaces and what it needs.
A plan is not worth something because it is large, but because it can be carried out. That is why the first step is always one you can start with your own tools and your own people.
What is not included: the build itself. The strategy says what is worth doing and in what order; the systems are built by the second brain and agentic lines, on a separate quote.
When it is worth doing: when everyone already uses something but nobody knows what it returns — or when there is nothing yet, and you would rather not start at the most expensive end.
